Run, Weaver

Support

Need a hand? Email hello@jamesweaver.dev and I'll get back to you. It helps to include your iPhone model, your iOS version and what you were doing when the problem happened.

My runs aren't showing up

Run, Weaver can only show runs it has permission to read from Apple Health. iOS doesn't tell apps when access is turned off, so the app can't tell "no permission" apart from "no runs".

To check access:

  1. Open the Health app
  2. Tap your profile picture, then Apps
  3. Tap Run, Weaver
  4. Turn on all the categories

Then open Run, Weaver again; your runs appear without you needing to do anything else.

If you tapped Not now when you first opened the app, Run, Weaver won't be listed in Health yet. Open the app and tap Connect Apple Health on the Dashboard instead.

If you haven't recorded any runs yet, runs you record with Apple Watch or the Workout app appear automatically.

Widgets aren't up to date

Widgets show the latest data from when Run, Weaver was last open. Opening the app refreshes them. If they're still out of date, check that Background App Refresh is turned on for Run, Weaver in Settings › Apps › Run, Weaver.

Deleting your data

Everything Run, Weaver stores, such as your races and weight goal, is kept on your iPhone. Deleting the app deletes it. Your Apple Health data isn't affected. See the privacy policy for details.

Requirements

Run, Weaver is free and runs on iPhone with iOS 27 or later. It reads your runs from Apple Health, so it needs the Health app, which is on every iPhone.
