Run, Weaver

Privacy policy

Last updated 17 October 2026

Run, Weaver is made by James Weaver. This policy explains what the app does with your data. The short version: Run, Weaver never sends your data anywhere. It has no account, no servers, no analytics and no tracking, and I never see your data.

What Run, Weaver reads from Apple Health

With your permission, Run, Weaver reads these types of data from Apple Health:

Run, Weaver only reads from Apple Health. It never writes to it, changes it or deletes anything in it.

You choose what to share when iOS asks, and you can change your mind at any time in the Health app or in Settings. If you turn access off, Run, Weaver simply stops seeing that data.

What Run, Weaver stores

Run, Weaver keeps a small amount of data on your iPhone so the app and its widgets work:

This data is stored on your device, in storage that only Run, Weaver and its widgets can use. Run, Weaver doesn't sync it to iCloud or send it anywhere.

Like other app data, it's included in your iPhone's backups if you use iCloud Backup or back up to a computer. Those backups are made and stored by iOS, and you control them in Settings › your name › iCloud › iCloud Backup. I can't access them.

What Run, Weaver doesn't do

Apple's rules also forbid apps from using Health data for advertising or selling it, and Run, Weaver follows them.

Crash reports

If you've chosen in iOS Settings to share analytics with app developers, Apple may send me anonymous crash reports and basic performance data for Run, Weaver. These are collected and controlled by Apple, and they don't include your Health data. You can turn this off in Settings › Privacy & Security › Analytics & Improvements.

Deleting your data

Children

Run, Weaver isn't directed at children and doesn't knowingly collect any information from anyone.

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new "last updated" date.
